On Saturday afternoon Oswego Kartway held the third running of the RJ Kart Sales Fall Frenzy Championships with over 90 entries checking in through the gates and nearly 30 racers vying for more than $3,000 in prize money in the State Clone 360 and Clone Medium divisions.
The Oswego County Autism Task Force is pleased to announce grant monies that will be available to not-for-profit organizations that are currently serving or seeking to provide new opportunities to individuals and families touched by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
This year’s “Screamwood Forest” will be open with a few new exciting scenes the two weekends before Halloween: Oct. 21, 22, 28 and 29. The trail will feature ‘friendly frights’ without live-action characters from 6 to 8 p.m. along with the opportunity for young children to “trick or treat” along the way. All proceeds will benefit the Phoenix Chorus and Drama Boosters and go towards continued support for theater and music programs.
Staff at Fulton City School District is hurriedly collecting water samples from all outlets throughout the district to satisfy new lead testing regulations in New York State. Signed into law by NYS Governor Andrew Cuomo on September 6, 2016, legislation Subpart 67-4 sets new regulations for all public schools grades Kindergarten-12 across the state in regards to lead testing of drinking water within school buildings.
