Isn’t Zilla the prettiest thing? She’s a young medium hair fluff ball with a sweet cuddly disposition. She was hit by a car near Fulton and rescued by a kind-hearted police officer who took the trouble to find help for her late at night. She was banged up by the car, but no life threatening injuries and is now recovered and ready for a home.

Oswego Council OK’s Winter Parking Plan

The Oswego council worked throughout the summer to come up with a winter parking policy that would be fair and make the majority of the residents happy. They aren’t quite there yet. However, at Monday’s meeting, they approved a policy that’s the best step going forward into the coming winter, the councilors agreed. The policy will be in effect from December 1 of each year until March 31 of the following year. It calls for no parking on residential streets from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m.; except for the downtown area where the ban is in effect 2 – 6 a.m.
