Jim Farfaglia, a local author who has written a number of books on life in Central New York, made a presentation on his recent book, “Voices in the Storm: Stories From the Blizzard of ’66,” at the March 17 meeting of the Fulton Lions Club.
The Fulton Lions Club has already sold more than 600 tickets for its annual “Lion’s Loot” drawing, leaving less than 400 left for purchase. “The chance of winning up to $10,000 is quickly coming to an end, and last year we sold out,” said Ron Browning, co-chair.
Ben Geiss, shift manager for Exelon Generation, Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, made a presentation on operations there at the Feb. 18 meeting of the Fulton Lions Club.
