OCB Practical Nursing Recognition, Pinning and Graduation Ceremony Held
Oswego County BOCES (OCB) Adult Education School of Practical Nursing recently held a Recognition, Pinning and Graduation Ceremony at the school. Three classes were recognized for their achievements in the program including Nurse Assistant, CNA Recognition and Spring Practical Nursing Pinning and Fall Practical Nurse graduation.

Maritime Adventures Set At Marine Museum
The H. Lee White Marine Museum is unveiling a new waterfront program this summer called “Maritime Adventures.†Only three dates have been scheduled for July, but each day includes a three-hour-long adventure of activities, art, crafts and games held on the Museum Pier rain or shine.

Harborfest Kids’ Fun Run Scheduled Sponsored By the river’s end Bookstore
Hey kids! Sign ups are now going on for the 9th Annual HARBORFEST KIDS’ FUN RUN scheduled for Saturday, July 25th and is sponsored by the rivers’ end bookstore. This event offers a ¼ and 1 mile route and begins at 8:00 AM. All racers will start in front of the Oswego YMCA. We are looking forward to seeing our community of kids getting “Fit & Literate†during this years event.

Dear Porky, I have two cats, Punch and Judy. Judy is about five and Punch is one. They mostly get along pretty well and I adopted Punch as a companion for Judy when I am at work, but every once in awhile they have a horrible knock down drag out fight. They haven’t hurt each other yet, but it worries me. What should I do?
