Dominick Allen of Fulton enrolled at Lehigh University as part of the Class of 2020. The members of the Class of 2020 represent 40 states and 30 countries.
Andrea Griffis was presented with a longevity award for her service.
Known for her previous works such as Legends and Lore of Lake Ontario and Maritime Tales of Lake Ontario, Capt. Gateley will be presenting on her most recent work, a documentary and book titled “Lake Ontario: A Quest for Hope.”
SUNY Oswego appears on The Princeton Review’s recently released “Best in the Northeast” recommended schools for 2017. The educational services company rated SUNY Oswego one of the top 228 colleges in the 11-state region as part of its “2016 Best Colleges: Region by Region.”
About 150 students throughout the Central Square School District received free supplemental school supplies to jump start the 2016-17 school year.

LifeWay Christian Resources is slated to simulcast well-known Bible teacher and best-selling author Beth Moore live from Chicago, Ill., on September 24. Oswego Alliance Church is serving as a host location for the Central New York area.
CiTi released its first-ever “Central New York Deaf/HH Teens” magazine featuring the biographies, struggles and successes of teens who are hard of hearing. “Our purpose for the magazine was to highlight the talented deaf teens of CNY while also expanding the reader’s knowledge of deafness,” said CiTi teacher of the Deaf/HH Tamara Seymour.
