The Annual Junior/Senior Talent Show at Hannibal High School showed why the event has continued for a great many years when more than two dozen acts took the stage before a packed audience at the school on March 6.

The LEO Club at Pulaski Middle/Senior High School is a new community service based organization linked as a junior organization to the Lions Club International. The club is a junior division of the Lions Club International. The Pulaski club is one of only a very few LEOs in the Central New York area.
George Baldwin, a representative from the Empire State Carpenters’ Apprenticeship Training Center was on hand at the Construction Technology class at Oswego County BOCES recently where he shared carpentry career opportunities available through the apprenticeship program.
Students became artists at Emerson J. Dillon Middle School recently when renowned Indian folk artist Rani Jha stopped by for a demonstration. Jha, who was visiting America for the first time, discussed the history of Mithila painting. She told students that the artwork was once created by women on the walls of their houses.
McDonald’s Restaurant in Cazenovia is displaying a selection of photographs by Cazenovia College student and Oswego native Brittany Juravich, now through May 1.
She, said, “My work represents thoughts and ideas of my imagination. I am able to make sense of the inner workings of my mind and create my own fantasy world where anything can happen through photography.”

Play Ball! Despite rumors to the contrary, adult softball is alive and well in Oswego, and will be played this summer under the direction of the city of Oswego at the Legends Complex.
