Catholic Charities of Oswego County is helping families throughout Oswego County make their food dollars stretch a little further through their participation in the Food Sense Program.
The Oswego County Emergency Management Office/Emergency Medical Services will offer an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Original course beginning June 20 at Ringgold Volunteer Fire Department, 1 Lake Street, Pulaski.
On June 8 the Emergency Services Program of Catholic Charities of Oswego County, in cooperation with the Food Bank of Central New York, will sponsor a fresh food distribution. Fresh foods and produce will be available, free of charge to those in need, from 4 until 6 p.m. or until food is gone.

Senior director of Oswego County Opportunities’ Health and Nutrition Department, Ellen Holst announced that Farzana Chaudhary, MD, has joined the medical staff at OCO’s Fulton Health Center.

Executive Director of the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County, Karrie Damm announced that Melissa Baker has joined the CAC staff as a mental health counselor.

Lake City 127 Free and Accepted Masons installed its new officers on May 21. The public installation was held at the Masonic Lodge, 765 E. Seneca St. The event was attended by family and friends of the new officers.
