“Every year, the Corporation for National and Community Service encourages service on MLK Day,†said Kathleen Fenlon, director of the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau. “AmeriCorps members from programs across the nation participate in various service projects for national days of service. In Oswego, AmeriCorps members have been doing projects for several years honoring Dr. King.â€Â
The Social-Recreation program includes many sports teams, hobby and interest groups, and regular dances.
Fulton Youth Soccer will hold its registration for the 2010 spring and fall seasons at the Fulton City Hall in the Community Room on Tuesday, February 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 4 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and on Saturday, March 13 from 9:00 AM until noon.
