Oswego Hospital Receives Baby Outfits From Oswego Town Historical Society

Members of the Oswego Town Historical Society collected more than 30 baby sleepers as part of their Christmas project that they donated to Oswego Hospital’s maternity center. Pictured from left are Elaine Croucher, RN, of the maternity center; and George DeMass, president of the Oswego Town Historical Society. 	Oswego Hospital’s maternity center offers attractive private rooms with the latest technology. Each labor and delivery room has its own bathroom with a large soaking tub. There are also 12 postpartum rooms, which have their own bathrooms, as well as a cheery, homelike atmosphere. The department is staffed by a caring and knowledgeable staff.  Members of the Oswego Town Historical Society collected more than 30 baby sleepers as part of their Christmas project that they donated to Oswego Hospital’s maternity center.

Oswego Hospital Medical Staff Collects Toys For Salvation Army

Members of Oswego Hospital’s medical staff collected toys for the Oswego Salvation Army during its recent holiday meeting. Each year the local physicians hold a toy drive and donate the toys to a community organization for distribution. Pictured with some of the toys are Surgeon Allison Duggan, MD., who is a vice president for medical affairs and Ophthalmologist Ivan Proano, M.D. who is president of the medical staff.Members of Oswego Hospital’s medical staff collected toys for the Oswego Salvation Army during its recent holiday meeting.

Oswego Health Recognizes Former Board Members

Pictured seated at left is Nancy Bellow, who served on the Oswego Health Board from 1997 to 2008, and was chair her final two years. Bellow had served a total of 17 years on various Oswego Health Boards. Seated at right is Linda Eagan, who served on the Oswego Health Board from 2009 to 2011. Standing from the left are Paul Schneible, who served on the Oswego Health Properties Board from 2009-2011; Tara FitzGibbons, who served on the Oswego Hospital Board from 2009 to 2011; Jim Molinari, Ph.D., who served on the Oswego Hospital Board from 2004 to 2011 and Joan Waterbury, who served on the Springside at Seneca Hill Board from 2002 to 2011 and also The Manor Board from 2010 to 2011. Not pictured were David Dano, Oswego Hospital Board, 2000 to 2011; Brendan Fear, Oswego Hospital Board 2008 to 2011; George Joyce who served a total of 16 years on several boards including Oswego Health Properties from 1997 to 2011; Joseph Edmund Mather, Sr. who served a total of 13 years that included both Springside and The Manor Boards between 1998 and 2011; Edward Matott, who served on both the Springside and The Manor Boards that spanned form 2007 to 2011; Mary Slimmer, Oswego Hospital Board from 2002 to 2011; Marian Stanton, who served on both the Springside and The Manor Boards spanning between 2008 and 2011; and Millard Sullivan, who served between 2004 and 2011on the Springside and The Manor Boards.Oswego Health recognized its former board members for their dedicated service during a holiday reception held at Springside at Seneca Hill. Each board member was honored with a plaque.

The Manor Welcomes Channel 9’s “Operation Good Things”

The Manor at Seneca Hill welcomed Dave Longley, Channel 9’s Chief Meteorologist, who delivered gifts to the healthcare facility as a part of the station’s Operation Good Things program. Residents and program participants in The Manor’s Adult Day Health Services program were presented a gift, courtesy of the Syracuse television channel’s longtime holiday program. For the residents and Adult Day participants, Longley’s visit was extra special, as he is an Oswego native and some shared their memories of his family. 	Pictured with Longley is Doris Warner a resident of The Manor. 	The Manor at Seneca Hill offers skilled nursing, a complete rehabilitation program with physical, occupational and speech therapies and an Adult Day Health Services Program. The Manor at Seneca Hill welcomed Dave Longley, Channel 9’s Chief Meteorologist, who delivered gifts to the healthcare facility as a part of the station’s Operation Good Things program.

Oswego Hospital’s Pediatrics Dept. Receives Toys From IBEW Local 43

Members of the apprentice class of IBEW Local #43 recently visited Oswego Hospital to deliver toys to the pediatrics department. The class holds a toy drive each year as a class project.
