Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete,” “D” or “F;” and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
The Oswego Player’s will present the Tony award winning comedy ‘Art’ March 3 at the Frances Marion Brown Theater, in Oswego. The play raises questions about art and friendship and concerns three long-time friends, Serge, Marc and Yvan.
Starting March 8, Read With Ody will be in the Children’s Room at the library from 12:15- 1 p.m. every Thursday. Read With Ody is a great opportunity for beginner readers to spend time reading with Ody, a therapy dog who loves to be read to. Non-readers can be read to with Ody.
The college’s Open House and Financial Aid Day will feature information on a wide array of subjects, including degree programs, student services, financial aid, student clubs, activities and events. The open house is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon March 3 at the college campus, located at 11 River Glen Drive in Fulton.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.

Assemblyman Will Barclay announced that the public will have a chance to weigh in on proposed changes affecting tipped workers. Late last year, the governor announced the possibility of ending a separate wage for tipped workers and would require workers such as wait staff to be paid the standard minimum wage.
For the Suit Up event, the Oswego students had the entire JCPenney store at Destiny USA to themselves from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, to seek out formal wear with a store-provided 40 percent discount.
