Oswego County Opportunities IMPACT program in collaboration with Friends of Fulton Parks invites you to join them September 16 from noon to 2 p.m. at Bullhead Point for a walk along the Lake Neatahwanta Nature Trail. The 1.7-mile scenic lakeside trail is one of the ongoing projects of Friends of Fulton Parks as they work to restore and beautify Fulton’s public parks.
At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Carol Vescio introduced Heidi Webb, Nutrition Outreach and Education Program coordinator for Oswego County. She talked about two local food programs – SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and Food Sense.
Members of the community are invited to join the residents of Springside at Seneca Hill for an Evening of Jazz from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. September 13. The popular band, Anthony Joseph Swingtet, will be performing at Springside.

On September 24 at 2 p.m. Oswego County artist, Penny Kimball, will return to the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center to teach Introduction to Wood Carving as part of our Nature Inspires series. Program participants will use chisels, gouges and a mallet to create a delightful work of art. Carving tools and supplies will be provided; however participants may bring their own set of tools if desired.

The Oswego County Historical Society will host a history walking tour of the Franklin Square Historic District in Oswego on September 17 at 1:30 p.m. Franklin Square, often called by locals as West Park, is the official name of the park located in the center of the west side of the city bordered between West Cayuga and Seneca streets and West Third and Fifth streets.
