Results appear in an interactive timeline at http://oswego.edu/about/24.From early-morning Zamboni drivers and bakers to students taking part in athletics and the arts throughout the evening, the 24 Hours in Photos project captured many faces and facets of SUNY Oswego over the course of one day.

New Medical Imaging Services Open at Fulton Medical Center

On December 12th all medical imaging services will be located at the Fulton Medical Center’s new department. Community members should use the main urgent care entrance when seeking services. Amie Snyder, office assistance is pictured at the registration desk.The department features the most advanced technology available in the Fulton area, offering digital mammograms and bone density screening, as well as ultrasound testing in an area that provides privacy and comfort.

Lost: “The Great Rope”

Fort Ontario State Historic Site and Americorps volunteer Ian Mumpton demonstrates the Great Cable Carry of 1814. A crew of cable-carriers brought the rope to Sackets Harbor from Big Sandy Creek to avoid British capture after the Battle of Oswego in 1814. The original ships’ cable would have been four times as thick and heavy as the one depicted here.The Oswego County War of 1812 Bicentennial Committee is searching for a copy of the script for Dr. Rosemary Nesbitt’s award-winning play, “The Great Rope.”
