Chinese Language, Culture Program Set for SUNY-Oswego

The Chinese Language and Culture Academy, a STARTALK program, will present a free Chinese language summer program for children and teens in grades 3-12 at SUNY Oswego. STARTALK is a language program funded by the National Security Agency. The National Foreign Language Center at the University of Maryland provides subject matter expertise.

Town of Richland Has Oswego County’s Best-Tasting Drinking Water

The county Health Department’s Environmental Division recently held its 28th annual tap water tasting contest. An informal tasting was held on June 13 at the Oswego County Regional Market and featured four municipal water districts. The town of Richland won the competition to earn the title of Oswego County’s best-tasting drinking water.
