Fort Ontario, NY – Historic Fort Ontario witnessed history once again as “The 1812 Underture” took the stage and became an overwhelming success, drawing between 600 and 700 people over its two night performances. This uproarious operetta, a brainchild of local talents in “The Hysterical Society,” exceeded all expectations during its weekend run on September 22nd and 23rd.

More than two dozen bands and performers of a variety of genres were on the schedule for 2023, making Harborfest one of the region’s larger music festivals. Committee review of applications will begin in October and end when all slots are filled. Deadline for applications is October 15.
