On February 24, at 9:05 p.m., State Police in Hastings responded to a domestic dispute on County Route 12 in the town of Hastings. Investigation at the scene revealed Timothy A. Scott II, 29, of Central Square, had allegedly pushed, hit and choked a female victim until she lost consciousness in front of her two children.
On April 1, at approximately 12:26 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle in the city of Fulton for a traffic violation. Investigation at the scene revealed the operator, Gregory A. Seeley, 52, of Liverpool, was allegedly intoxicated.
On April 1, at approximately 1:02 p.m., State Police responded to a report of a forcible touching incident in Granby. Following an investigation, troopers and the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Richard L. Burdick, 71, of Hannibal, and charged him with Forcible Touching, a class “A” misdemeanor.
On April 1, at approximately 11:30 a.m., State Police responded to a domestic dispute in Volney. Investigation at the scene revealed that Cassandra L. West, 30, of Mexico, allegedly broke a window of the victim’s residence during the course of an argument.

CiTi, the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation recently hosted the 12th annual Regional Awareness Program for young drivers to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving. The three hour program, which recurs every year in early spring as warm weather arrives and prom season approaches, delivered powerful stories from victims of drunk driving as well as the current Oswego County District Attorney and offered numerous hands on demonstrations to the effects of distracted driving.
UPDATE:
The Oswego County E-911 Communications Center reports that the problems preventing people from certain areas being able to dial 911 have been resolved, and all county residents are now able to call 911.
Oswego County continues to celebrate its bicentennial with another “History Moment” from Oswego County Legislator Shawn Doyle, District 3, and chairman of the Oswego County Bicentennial Committee. In honor of Black History Month in February, his talk at the monthly Legislature meeting highlighted local black residents and the Underground Railroad movement that swept across the county.
The Oswego County E-911 Communications Center reports that people with some land lines in the Fulton area are still having difficulty reaching 911. Telephone company technicians are continuing to work on problem.
