Oswego Woman Hurt in Onondaga County Crash
A car driven by Darlene Halstead, of 1342 County Route 22, Oswego was hit by a vehicle that crossed over the center line of Oswego Rd. at about 10:05 p.m. She was taken to Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.

Girl Scout’s Itsy Bitsy Project To Provide Big Benefits
Katherine Robinson, a Girl Scout Senior from Oswego, organized a crochet/knitting event to benefit micro-preemie babies within the community. At the event, dozens of volunteers helped her make hats, booties and blankets. They will all be donated to area hospitals.
Plane Crashes in Palermo, Serious Injuries Reported
A small plane has crashed in the town of Palermo Sunday afternoon, according to officials.
It happened at around 3:30 p.m. near 1988 County Route 45, Palermo.
The pilot suffered leg and chest injuries and was flown by helicopter to the hospital. The passenger appeared to suffer less serious injuries, he said.

Jobless Rate Remains Upstate’s Highest
The county’s jobless rate is the highest in Upstate New York and second highest in the state, to the Bronx’ 13.6%.
