On September 5, at approximately 7:42 a.m., the suspect entered the Refuel gas station on State Route 3 in the town of Volney and took a wallet that had been dropped by a prior customer.

At about 6:17 p.m. today (Sept. 14), the Oswego City Police Department was dispatched to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of East Bridge and Sixth streets. A 32-year-old woman was struck by a small SUV, police report. She was transported by Mentor Ambulance to Fulton where she was then transported to Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, by Mercy Flight with serious injuries. The investigation is on-going.

The grant, from the National Library of Medicine of the National Institutes of Health, will assist a project — “Integrating Neuroimaging, Multi-omics, and Clinical Data in Complex Disease” — that Kim has under way in collaboration with two other researchers.

SUNY Oswego has once again earned a top 50 ranking in the 2018 “Top Regional Universities in the North” from U.S. News and World Report, as well as a top 100 placement in Washington Monthly, which rates schools on their contribution to the public good. Oswego tied for 13th among public universities in the North Region, 48th overall, among institutions in the U.S. News and World Report ratings.

As soon as the “Steel Palace” its doors on Oswego Speedway’s 2017 season, it began to morph into the “Clay Palace.” DIRT Week is scheduled for October 1- 8 and the track is nearly ready, according to Jeff Hachmann, director of events. The track is just about ready, a bit faster than last year, he told Oswego County Today. But there are a mryiad other pieces of the puzzle to contend with, he added.
