Brush Rifles: Fact or Myth
For many years the debate has raged about which caliber is best in the brush. Equally debated is if any caliber is good in the brush. When most writers refer to the brush generally they refer to Northern Tier states and whitetail deer. Brush however covers a good deal of the Country. Brush is defined as bushes and young trees densely packed in a particular geographic area. For this topic I am going to stick with Northern states as their topography is covered with more brushy areas on average.

Oswego Girls Turn In Best Performances At Invitational
With every girl running a season or personal best, the Oswego girls cross country team, turned in an outstanding performance Saturday, at the 18th Annual East Syracuse Minoa Cross Country Invitational. The Lady Bucs placed fifth overall in their race, behind three teams ranked in the state.

Oswego Downs Henninger In Varsity Swimming
The Oswego Lady Bucs traveled to Henninger Wednesday for a meet. Oswego took control of the meet starting with a one-two finish in the 200 yard medley relay including strong individual performances by senior Mo Donovan, juniors Laura O’Brien and Lindsay Johnson, sophomore Michaela Auer, and eighth grader Chrissy Abare.

The Oswego girls cross country team turned in another outstanding team performance Wednesday, outrunning the visiting Lady Cougars of Corcoran 24-37 and the Lady Knights of Rome Free Academy 27-29, in a CNYCL American Division dual league matchup.
