City of Fulton news:

  • Fulton’s third annual Big Truck Day 3 returns to the Lake Neatahwanta at the Fulton War Memorial complex. The May 20 event will run from 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. See full story here.
  • The Fulton City School District’s annual Budget Vote and Board of Election Vote will take place Tuesday, May 16 from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.; with five individuals running for available Board seats. See full story here.
  • Fulton G. Ray Bodley High School student Brady Niver succumbed to injuries from an April 30 car accident in the Town of Granby.  See full story here.

City of Oswego news:

  • The Oswego City School District’s annual Budget Vote and Board of Election Vote will take place Tuesday, May 16 from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., with seven candidates running for open seats on the Board. See full story here.
  • A wall located in the middle of  the Oswego River – upstream near the switchback, will now be off limits to the fishermen; a safety measure voted in by the Oswego Common Council. See full story here.
  • The City of Oswego has negotiated with Verizon for the installation of multiple 5G ‘small cells’ and distributed antenna systems to boost service throughout the city. See full story here.

  • A fatal accident occurred in the Town of Palermo on May 8, William Winks becoming trapped between his tractor and a piece of backhoe equipment while trying to connect the two. See full story here.
