They were selected to perform at halftime of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, the premier high school football game in the country. It will be held on January in the Alamodome in San Antonio. Only 125 band and color guard members from around the country are selected. In the past four years, Oswego has had seven representatives.
Through heat, rain, cold and mud the beat goes on. Those conditions might make you think of the person who delivers mail, but those are also the elements that members of the “Pride of Oswego,†the Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers, must overcome in practicing and competing in representing their school and community.
