An interim principal has been approved at the Fulton Junior High School following the resignation of current principal Ryan Lanigan. At the regular board of education meeting held Tuesday (Sept 27), the board unanimously passed the resolution to appoint Olivia Cambs to the interim principal position at the FJHS.
The Fulton City School District Board of Education unanimously accepted the resignation of four district employees including the principal of Fulton Junior High School, Ryan Lanigan. Lanigan’s resignation will become effective October 7, 2016 and school officials are in the beginning stages of the process to finding a replacement.
As part of the Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) initiative at Fulton Junior High School, students take time each week to recognize staff members for creating a positive school environment and going the extra mile to support student success.
