Sometimes, when the message is just right, a little inspiration can go a long way. That was the case when local author, inspirational speaker, and entrepreneur Tim Conners came in to speak to a room of students at the Fulton Junior High School in May, just days before embarking on a quest to climb Mount Kilamanjaro. Inspired by Conners’ message and his determination to make a difference, the students wanted to show their support.
The search for a new principal at the Fulton Junior High School has come to an end as the Board of Education unanimously approved the appointment of Christopher T. Leece, effective July 1, 2017. “I really think we made a great match,” Superintendent Pulvino said.
The search for a permanent replacement principal at Fulton Junior High School remains and ongoing process. Superintendent Pulvino updated the board of education at Tuesday’s (Feb 14) regular meeting, saying there is an “interesting range” of roughly 25 applicants thus far.
