The 3rd Annual Awards Banquet takes place at 6 p.m. that Saturday at Volney Fire Hall, 3002 State Rte 3, and brings together Central New York Group and its six squadrons (located in Fulton, Watertown, Syracuse, Rome and Utica/New Hartford).

Oswego County Opportunities, one of the top 10 largest private employers in Oswego County, recently welcomed nine new staff members. To ensure the success of the new employees OCO provides a thorough orientation session that acclimates employees to the history, mission and vision of the agency.
The area received another 0.08-inch of rain on April 19. And it looks more of the same for a while.

Fulton Police today (April 15) arrested Duane A. Makosky, 57 of 38 Birch Lane Apt. 47-D Oswego, for one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
