Fundraising for Bristol Hill Bell Tower
On October 5, 2009, the Bristol Hill Church selected a contractor to begin work on manufacturing a replica of the original Church’s bell tower. Through grants provided by the Network to Freedom Trail and Heritage New York, the Bristol Hill Church has been steadily working to repair and bring back the traditional architectural look of the church building.
Hand Made Quilt to be Given As Door Prize
All who attend the community Make a Craft Day at Oswego Alliance Church will have a chance to take home this beautiful Dresden plate quilt made by Judy Smith. The craft day is set for Saturday October 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In addition to the quilt there will be many more door prizes.
SUNY Oswego’s 18th Annual United Way Walkathon
The Walk-A-Thon sponsored by SUNY Oswego’s Auxiliary Services, raises not only money for the community but also facilitates the unique opportunity for public relations students who plan and organize the event to get valuable hands-on experience in the field of public relations.

This quilt will be raffled off as part of the Friends’ fundraising efforts during National Hospice Month. Proceeds from the drawing will benefit Oswego County Hospice patients and their families. The quilt will be on display at “Hospice-Tality†events throughout November and at the Friends’ office in Oswego.
