SUNYAC Men’s Ice Hockey Semifinal Tickets On Sale Monday

Tickets for the upcoming Oswego State men’s ice hockey SUNYAC semifinal game will be available for SUNY Oswego students and current season ticket holders on Monday, Feb. 22 at the Campus Center Box Office. Fans are encouraged to wear green to the semifinal game to show their support for the team as well as the college’s effort to “go green” as a campus.

Oswego Sports Wrapup – Swimmers, Basketball And Hockey Win And Strong Individual Efforts

Drake Becksted shattered pool records while boys’ hockey and girls’ basketball prepped for post season play. The OHS varsity basketball team wound up the season with a win as did boys’ and girls’ jayvee fives. Meanwhile, the girls’ track team and wrestling team had solid individual performances including an upcoming trip to the state tournament for bowler Jamie Cliff.

Lady Bucs Hockey Clinches State Crown

The Oswego High School Lady Bucs hockey team did not surrender a goal in two days as they captured the New York State Girls’ Hockey crown on Saturday before an enthusiastic crowd in Skaneateles. The Lady Bucs scored a 4-0 title game win over Alexandria Bay and had advanced to the finals with a 3-0 shutout over host Skeanteles.

Bucs Shut Out Baldwinsville on Senior Night, Tune Up For Sectional Rematch

Sophomore Forward Josh Scova nailed home two goals while senior goaltender Matt Howard secured the net in Oswego’s 2-0 victory over the Baldwinsville Bees. Scova grabbed a goal in each of the first two periods. That’s all the Bucs needed to hold onto a victory as Howard snagged 32 saves on senior night at Crisafulli Rink Thursday.
