CDA Secures $450K Grant For HOME Program

Through the efforts of the Fulton Community Development Agency, more than two dozen families in the city of Fulton will receive assistance for home repairs. The CDA recently learned that its application for $450,000 in funding for the HOME Program was successful.

Library Readies For Newly Renovated Home To Open

The Oswego Public Library Renovation and Expansion Project is nearing completion. The exterior painting of the building (shown) is being finalized, and the library will begin to transition out of its temporary location starting at 5 p.m. May 23.

The temporary location will be closed for the move starting May 23. The move into the historic building on Second Street is expected to get under way next week.

Fire Damages Ontario Street Home

The fire was reportedly caused by a large amount of debris behind the electric clothes dryer in the laundry room being ignited by heat from the dryer and spreading to the walls and floor of the room. The cause was considered to be accidental.
