OHS Sports Teams Wrap Up Busy Week
It has been a tremendously busy week for Oswego sports teams, especially the softball squad, but the season continues to move toward post-season play.

This Friday and Saturday evening, May 13th and 14th at 7 p.m., the Oswego High School Drama Club will present two one-act plays directed by OHS Drama Club students. This production is special in that the adults acted only as advisors or mentors and the students themselves were responsible for all aspects of the production.
Oswego junior Whitney Ford, turned in an outstanding performance for the Lady Bucs, at the 20 team East Syracuse-Minoa Girls’ Track and Field Invitational, held Friday afternoon at East Syracuse-Minoa High School.
Oswego High School Principal Brian Hartwell is proud to announce the honor rolls for the third quarter of the 2010-2011 school year.

“I am pleased and honored to be here to celebrate this special day for our newest inductees into the Oswego High School National Honor Society Owl’s Head Chapter,” said Oswego Superintendent of Schools Bill Crist. He was addressing the newest members of the National Honor Society Owl’s Head Chapter in a recent ceremony in the Ralph M. Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts.

The colorful posters, brochures, programs and trolley buttons for this year’s Oswego Harborfest are the direct result from a unique cooperative effort between the Oswego City School District and the annual event organization.
Friday, July 15 will be an adults-only event at Bridie Manor. Saturday, July 16 will be a family-welcome event at the Fair Haven State Park Pavilion.

Recently members of the Navy Band Northeast’s popular music group “Rhode Island Sound” spent the day with Oswego High School music students.
