Superintendent’s Conference Day Slated
There will be no school in Oswego on Monday, May 10. It will be a Superintendent’s Conference Day in the Oswego City School District.

The purpose of the program isn’t to punish drivers. The mission is to educate them about the importance of not passing a stopped school bus – anywhere. Even though Operation Safe Stop has ended, we still plan to continue our aggressive enforcement of observed violators, the police chief said.

The voters get to have their say on the $74.8 million spending plan on May 18. There is no tax levy increase and no schools will be closed.
