Buc Jayvee Tennis Falls to CNS
The Oswego jayvee tennis team lost 6-1 to CNS. The duo of Christina Dehm and Katelyn Gurney won 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 for the lone point of the day.
Freshman Michelle Bateman (Fulton, N.Y.) tallied goals in the 10th and 73rd minute, her eight goals marking the highest single-season total since 2005 when current assistant coach Maureen Kasperek scored 13 goals.
The Oswego State cross country team turned in strong performances at its own meet with a third place finish by the men’s squad and a fourth place finish by the women’s squad on Saturday.
