FULTON, NY – A limited number of entries are still available for teams interested in competing Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s inaugural CYO Rock the Rim Basketball Tournament.
Scheduled for 3 p.m. May 21 at the Fulton War Memorial, Catholic Charities’ CYO tournament welcomes players of all ages.
There will be a bracket for teams with players ages 16 – 30 and a second bracket for players age 30 and over.
There will also be a shoot-out for youth ages 5 – 7, 8 – 10, 11 – 12, and 13- 15.
Prizes will be awarded to the winner of each bracket and all youth participating in the shoot-outs will receive an award. The tournament is open to both men and women as co-ed teams are welcome.
Catholic Charities’ CYO Rock the Rim Basketball Tournament will serve as a fundraiser for the CYO Program, which provides a safe, well supervised, friendly environment for area youth and offers a variety of programs that promote positive development including; an after school program, a mentoring program, summer recreation, and a Saturday drop in program that offers youth the opportunity for healthy interaction with their peers.
Registration fee is $150 per team with a maximum of eight players per team, and includes a commemorative T-shirt for each team member.
For a $1 donation, participants in the youth shoot-out will receive five shots.
