Nolan Joseph Kapuscinski was born to Stacey and Mark Kapuscinski of Oswego and was delivered by Dr. Raj Mahajan on March 24, 2013. He was born at Oswego Hospital. The Kapuscinskis were presented with a basket of baby items
At about 6 a.m. today (May 8), members of the Oswego City Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division arrested 31-year-old Kevin J. Ridlon of 59 W. Fourth St.. Oswego, in regards to a burglary that had occurred on Sunday April 28 at 7 Third Ave., commonly referred to as “C’s Market.”
Do you believe in ghosts and spirits? You will if you spend the evening with the ghosts of Casey’s Cottage at Mexico Point Park. On May 18 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. May 19, brave souls are invited to investigate the spirits of Casey’s Cottage and other ‘haunted’ places in the park with professional ghost hunters.

Traditionally the first Sunday afternoon in May means that it is time for the Oswego High School National Honor Society Owl’s head Chapter induction ceremony. As families, friends and faculty, along with some members of the Board of Education, gathered at the Robinson-Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts, nearly 40 Oswego High School students were inducted.

Sports and academics go hand-in-hand and adults make positive impressions on a young student. The varsity lacrosse players have a special “Teacher Appreciation Night” to recognize the impact that individual faculty members had on each and every one of them.
The 23rd annual Lady Buccaneer Softball Mini Camp for girls ages 9-16 will be held June 24, 25 and 26 at the Oswego High School fields. The camp has a rain date of June 27. The cost is $45 per player. Enrollment is limited to the first 50 players.
The 52nd annual Novelis Supermodified ‘Kick-Off’ is set to take the green flag this Saturday at Oswego Speedway presented by Mitchell’s Speedway Press and CJ Ferlito Aggregates. A healthy field of Novelis Supermodifieds is expected to be in attendance for the 75-lap main event.
