Students from both the Alfred campus and the School of Applied Technology campus in Wellsville are selected for the Dean’s List if they maintain a 3.50 grade-point average (GPA) out of a possible 4.0.

On January 16, State Police in Hastings, Fulton and Pulaski responded to a robbery at Speedy’s Gas Station located at 2634 State Route 49 in the town of West Monroe. On January 17, investigators arrested 30-year-old Cody J. Wakeman from West Monroe, for Robbery 2nd degree, a class “C” felony.
Benjamin Holden Harris of North Syracuse went home to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday January 14, 2016, from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse after a long illness.
Jock Thomas Thorpe, 60, a resident of Volney, died Sunday January 17, 2016, at home surrounded by his family.
