Church Elected To NYS Association of Counties Board of Directors
Oswego County Administrator Philip Church was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the New York State Association of Counties at the association’s annual meeting in Onondaga County last week. “County Administrator Church is an experienced and thoughtful county leader, and we are fortunate to have his expertise on the NYSAC Board of Directors,” said NYSAC President MaryEllen Odell.

Public Lewdness Alleged in Albion
At 7:06 p.m., sheriff’s deputies arrested Terry L. Muir, 54, of 941 Stone Hill Road, Williamstown, for public lewdness, a class B misdemeanor. Mr. Muir was allegedly standing in the roadway without any clothes on.

Mayor Billy Barlow has announced that the city of Oswego Economic Development Office has an established Commercial Revolving Loan Program. The CRL Program was established to stimulate economic activity by collaboratively working with the business community in partnership with local lending institutions to provide financial assistance for business start-up and expansion in the city of Oswego.

Greater Pulaski Community Fund Annual Fundraising Campaign Begins
The Greater Pulaski Community Endowment Fund launched its annual fundraising campaign this fall with a goal of reaching and surpassing $15,000 in donations. The John Ben Snow Memorial Trust pledged to provide a dollar-for-dollar match, up to $15,000, for contributions received on or before December 15, 2017.

CNY Arts Center will host national touring comedian Lucas Bohn October 7 at the Oasis at Thunder Island for an evening of fun and celebration in support of the arts. Assemblyman Will Barclay serves as honorary chairperson for the fundraiser event where all proceeds will benefit the Fulton’s Future Project to build a better future through the arts.
