WSYR Meteorologist Kate Thornton interviews varsity volleyball players Laurin Furlong and Adeline Benjamin during Thursday morning’s live broadcast of “Cool Schools” from Oswego High School. Fulton Man Facing Rape, Several Other Charges

Gary Melvin Goodale, of Fulton, was arrested after an investigation by the Fulton Police Department and charged with first-degree rape as well as other charges. He is alleged to have had sexual intercourse, physical sexual contact and sexual contact with a foreign object with an eight-year-old girl. It also alleged that he had physical sexual contact, oral sexual contact with a nine-year-old boy as well as physical sexual contact with an eight-year-old boy.
