A strong field of winged ISMA/MSS Supermodifieds gathered Saturday night for the second Oswego Challenge series, and first ISMA/MSS winged race of the series. And, it wasn’t a big surprise that a past champion at the Oswego track would be in victory lane when the 50-lap, $6,000 to win event was over. The Sitterly 7 had been in victory lane in the past and the 2022 ISMA champion still knew his way around the lakeside oval as he showed Saturday night.

Oswego River Hawks Go 2-0 At Utica’s Battle On The Barge

With a balanced offense and a gritty defense, the Oswego River Hawks box lacrosse team went undefeated at the 2nd Annual Battle on the Barge Invitational at the Utica University Nexus Center on Saturday – downing the host Utica Yeti 12-9 and then holding on for a 10-8 win against Troy’s Collar City Kings. The River Hawks/Yeti game was the first North American Box Lacrosse League (NABLL) contest of the 2023 season.
