Oswego Elks To Host United Way’s 2023 Stuff-A-Bus

Although school won’t resume for four more weeks, volunteers with United Way of Oswego County’s Annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign are already starting to gear up for the new school year in September. Once again, the distribution location for children in the Oswego City School District will take place at the Oswego Elks Lodge.

Boating Advisory For Onondaga County Waterways Including NYS Canal System  

The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is issuing a Boating Advisory due to hazardous waters due to recent heavy rainfall and flood conditions.  The Sheriff’s Office is urging boaters to use caution while everything is being assessed.  There are very strong currents, lots of debris and water levels are still rising.
