DEC Announces Completion Of New Accessible Cove Road Boat Ramp On The Barge Canal
New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Commissioner Basil Seggos today announced the completion of a new boat launch on the Barge Canal at Cove Road in the town of Verona, Oneida County. The newly constructed launch, which enhances fishing and boating recreational opportunities for all visitors, including people with disabilities, connects to Oneida Lake and provides additional access to the lake’s world-class fishing.

The Central Square American Legion Fuller Taylor Post #915 hosts Female Veteran Celebration Day on Saturday, June 10. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Post located at 3301 Fulton Ave., Central Square. The tribute celebrates and recognizes women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and provides them the opportunity to connect with other female veterans.
