Beatrice M. Stevens, 89, formerly of Bishops Commons, and the Town of Minetto, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at St. Luke Health Services.

UPDATED: A suspect was chased through Oswego Thursday evening by Fulton police officers, county sheriff’s deputies and Oswego police officers. The suspect was apprehended after being Tasered at his residents about a half mile west of the Port City. Several law enforcement vehicles were damaged in the incident, but there were no serious injuries. The investigation is on-going.
There’ll soon be a family living in the home at 421 Rochester St., and the city of Fulton will bank a small profit from the sale. It is the latest home to receive the city’s novel treatment of rundown structures that fall to the city when owners stop paying taxes.
