Phoenix Varsity Baseball/Softball To host Mexico At OCC For Hemophilia Fundraiser Game

The Phoenix Firebirds Varsity Baseball & Softball teams will host the Mexico Tigers at OCC for a fundraiser game on April 17, 2023. April 17 is World Hemophilia Awareness Day. All proceeds from the games and related fundraisers will be donated to the Pediatrics Hematology Oncology Center at Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Oswego County Students Participate In Novelis P-Tech Day

Novelis craft employees follow work notifications that include specific instructions; and these instructions are critical to the effectiveness and application of the equipment. Crafts frequently maintain and install motors and gearboxes across the plant on weekly down days and outages. Equipment is tested by the crafts before being released to operations.

Local Hamilton College Student Emily Hall Named To NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team

Emily Hall, of Phoenix, was recently named to the 2023 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) winter all-academic team for women’s basketball. The recognition honors sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
