With the new school year starting and the last breath of summer in the air, the Oswego ARISE Sibshops Group gathered in the Mexico Community Park on August 29 to have fun, play games, and talk about the upcoming school year.
Air Force Airman Michael A. Crandall graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
Rudy’s, an Oswego Town institution since 1946, will be the program at the next Town of Oswego Historical Society meeting on Thursday, September 10, at 6:00 PM. The meetings are held at the Oswego Town Hall in Oswego Center and everyone is welcome to come and reminisce.
At the wellness fair, Oswego Health will offer screenings including bone density and blood pressure. Other vendors include The Rural Health Network, Oswego County Opportunities’ Health Education Services, Price Chopper, Riverview Wellness Center, The River’s End Bookstore, Port City Performance, Oswego County Habitat for Humanity, the Oswego YMCA, as well as many others.
