Pancreatic cancer is the seventh most common cause of cancer-related deaths in men and women across the globe. Last year, it surpassed breast cancer to become the third leading cause of cancer death in the U.S.
On December 4, the Hannibal Historical Society will meet at 6 p.m. for a business meeting. Following this meeting, Lowell Newvine, Hannibal Town and Village Historian and Hannibal Historical Society Historian, will present a program detailing the life of Amos W. Farnham.
A silent auction will be held noon until 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. There will be a wide variety of items for auction.
