Phoenix Summer Concert Series Receives Funding

The town of Schroeppel and village of Phoenix are pleased to announce that the recently submitted “Music in the Park” and “Friday Nights of Fun” grants for the summer concert series in Phoenix have been approved for partial funding – $500 and $500, respectively, through the NYS Council on the Arts Decentralization Program with the support of Governor Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.

Fulton Lions Installs New President, Presents Annual Awards

The Fulton Lions Club installed its new slate of officers for 2017-18 and presented club awards for the 2016-17-club year at its June 15 meeting. Michelle Stanard succeeds David Guyer as president. Other officers installed included: Zachary Merry, vice president; Linda Hughes, secretary; and Michael Reardon, treasurer.

Students Aid Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign

Students at Minetto Elementary School joined students throughout Oswego County in participating in the Pinwheels for Prevention campaign in April. In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month students sold pinwheels to raise funds in support of the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County and planted pinwheel gardens on the school grounds.
