If residents in the Fulton city school district have opinions about the proposed $23.7 million capital improvement project, they aren’t sharing. Aside from a group of district employees, not even a handful of residents attended a public hearing that was held on the project Wednesday evening at G. Ray Bodley High School.
He has defeated the incumbent to give the Republicans a 6-1 majority on the Oswego Common Council in 2008. Connie Cosemento of the First Ward is the only Democrat to win the election. Currently, the Democrats have a 5-2 advantage.
The proposal is being developed to address traffic safety and operation needs along Route 104 between George Street and Kocher Road in the City of Oswego and the Town of Scriba, officials said. However, some people feel it will cut too much into their property.
Those who have not yet applied for their property tax rebate still have time.
