City of Fulton news:

  • Oswego Industries, located in Fulton, donated bicycle helmets to the Fulton Police Department; the helmets free of charge to whomever comes  in and requests one. See full story here.
  • The Oswego County Senior Fair, to held at the Fulton War Memorial on Sept. 22, will present information on ways to avoid falls; the demonstrations recognizing Falls Prevention Awareness Week. See full story here.
  • The City of Fulton Police Department has recently added a drone program to their office, with five police officers trained as pilots. See full story here.

City of Oswego news:

  • The City of Oswego Police Department is stepping up with a mental health program for the community, with the implementation of their first therapy dog – K9 Donny. Donny is a 14-week-old Goldendoodle who will be specially trained to serve as the police department’s first therapy dog. See full story here.
  • Mayor Billy Barlow announced the appointment of Damien Waters as the next Deputy Police Chief of the Oswego Police Department, following the retirement of former Deputy Chief Zac Misztal. See full story here.
  • The Oswego Music Hall of Fame is once again celebrating local Oswego County talent with a ceremony and fundraiser, which will be hosted at  Canale’s Restaurant on Oct. 15. See full story here.
