City of Fulton news:

  • Fulton Savings Bank recently donated $1,000 of equipment to the Fulton Fire Department for use in their Community Risk Reduction educational program, said Fulton Fire Chief Adam Howard. Full story here.

  • Mayor Deana Michaels, the Fulton Police Department, the Fulton Community Development Agency, and Canal Landing area businesses are sponsoring a free Trunk or Treat from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, October 31. Full story here.

City of Oswego news:

  • Stories of local legends and spirits will return with a live performance when SUNY Oswego’s storytelling class presents the 7th Annual Oswego Town Rural Cemetery: Ghost and History Storytelling Tour at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. Full story here.
  • Mayor Billy Barlow announced the grand opening of a new $500,000 concrete skate park during a ribbon cutting ceremony, joined by the Common Council, professional skateboarders, local businesses, and members of the public, on Saturday, October 15. Full story here.
  • The Oswego City School District was recognized by the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) with a “Champions for Change” award for their efforts in bringing about positive advancement within their student population during the Board of Education meeting, Tuesday, Oct. 18.  Full story here.
  • On the evening of Monday, October 17, 2022, the Oswego City Drug Task Force along with the Oswego City Special Response team and the Oswego County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on a West Albany Street residence in the city of Oswego resulting in the arrest of two. Full story here.
