Oswego Police Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Fulton Man

As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence. He is currently facing several felony drug counts and will return to court next month. Police say they anticipate more arrests.

Fire at Fulton’s Chateau West Apartments

Smoke pours from the roof of one building at Chateau West Apartments, Fulton.Fire broke out Monday morning inside apartment I in building 12 of the Chateau West Apartments in Fulton.

The fire left 11 people homeless and damaged four apartments.

United Way Stone Soup Too Luncheon Receives Rock Solid Support

Phi Theta Kappa students from Cayuga Community College, Fulton Campus, were some of the many volunteers who helped host the United Way’s “Stone Soup Too” luncheon at Holy Trinity Church. From left are: Geoff Bertollini, Mary Angela Fisher, Ashley Flynn, and Laura Kolanda. Absent from photo are Phi Theta Kappa volunteers Justin Ford and Corey Fleming.

Supporters of the United Way of Greater Oswego County filled the Parish Center at Holy Trinity Church in Fulton as the community came together to enjoy a delicious meal of soup, salad and breads at United Way’s “Stone Soup Too” Luncheon.

Oswego Area Escapes Big Snowstorm

An early spring bout with Old Man Winter decorates a tree and bush with snow in Scriba on Wednesday.

According to Bill Gregway, local observer for the national Weather Service, Oswego received 1.2 inches of snow. “There was a lot, an awful lot, to our south and west,” he said. “It caused a lot of accidents and closings elsewhere. For us, it was no big deal.”
