A very special event to raise awareness of hunger and poverty in Oswego County and help garner support for Oswego County’s food pantries received some much welcomed support recently as Hair We Are Next Door has announced that they will be collecting non-perishable food donations for the second annual Playing For Poverty, A Food Aid Concert for Oswego County. The salon is hosting a donation box where patrons will be able to drop off non-perishable food donations now through the date of the event. Catholic Charities of Oswego County is helping families throughout Oswego County make their food dollars stretch a little further through their participation in the Food Sense Program. 
Playing for Poverty, A Food Aid Concert for Oswego County recently received support from Dynamic Sound and Security in Oswego. The automotive accessory store held a raffle and raised $200 in support of the event.
