Port Of Oswego Authority Named One Of Six Winners Of 2021 Season “Pacesetter Award”

Today, the U.S. Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS) announced that six U.S. ports in the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway System received the Robert J. Lewis Pacesetter Award from GLS for registering increases in international cargo tonnage shipped through their ports during the 2021 navigation season.

Mayor Barlow Claims Success In Seeking Halt Of Port Authority Construction Activity

Oswego Mayor Billy Barlow announced today that the City of Oswego’s request for a temporary restraining order against the Port of Oswego Authority, seeking the halt of construction activity at the Port’s East Terminal, successfully resulted in a consent order between the parties stopping the large structure under construction as part of the Grain Handling Improvements Project while the Supreme Court reviews the city’s legal action.
