The Oswego Corps of The Salvation Army continues to celebrate next week. It will hold a community breakfast on Nov. 9 at 8 a.m. at The American Foundry, 246 W. Seneca St., to celebrate 125 years of service in Oswego.
Oz Roller Girls Roll Out Community Support
The Oz Roller Girls, the community’s new flat-track women’s roller derby league, has blocked out time to address a number of community causes, from hunger to veteran support to animal welfare. Leading up to their first bout, the team mounted a food drive to support the Oswego Salvation Army food services that help hungry families in the community.
