In an effort to raise awareness of this problem and empower parents and caregivers to combat it, the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County will host a luncheon workshop and discussion on this issue as part of the CAC’s 10th anniversary and National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
On Saturday morning, a female victim reported to Oswego Police that she had been sexually assaulted during the early morning hours while walking in the area of West Seneca Street at West Sixth Street. The investigation is continuing.
The former Hannibal bus driver who was accused of having sexual intercourse with a teenager has been sentenced to prison time. Jeanine M. Buske, 33, pleaded guilty to third-degree rape and was sentenced to 1-Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â½ to 3 years in state prison. A local parolee was arrested Tuesday in connection with allegations that he had sexual contact with a child in the presence of another. Kevin T. Green, 35, of Russell Road, building # 310, Fulton, is now facing charges of first-degree sex abuse, a class-D felony, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He is being held at the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail. […]
